  • All-Purpose Cleaner
suggested uses: hard surfaces like countertops and kitchen floors, windows and mirrors

    2 cups white distilled vinegar
    2 cups water
20-30 or more drops of essential oil (optional)

Tip: Warming in microwave until barely hot will boost cleaning power for tough jobs. Only microwave in a glass container.

  • Furniture Polish
    1/4 cup olive oil

    1/4 cup white distilled vinegar
    20-30 drops lemon essential oil

    Shake well before using
(2 teaspoons lemon juice may be substituted for lemon oil but then must be stored in refrigerator)

Dip a clean, dry cloth into the polish and rub wood in the direction of the grain. Use a soft brush to work the polish into corners or tight places.

  • Moisturizing body and facial scrub
    1/2 cup (60g) sea salt
    1/3 cup (75ml) almond oil
5 drops lavender essential oil (optional)

Pamper yourself at home with an all natural skin care formula. Pour seasalt into a small plastic container and conver with the almond oil and lavendar essential oil, if desired. (If you mix it, the salt with quickly settle on the bottom, but if you pour the oil over the salt, it will slowly cover it on its own.) To use, gently massage a small amount onto wet skin, taking care to avoid eyes and other sensitive areas. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Store remaining scrub-tightly covered-away from light and heat.

  • foot odor eliminator
2 gallons (7.5 liters) warm water
    1/2 cup (110g) baking soda
4 drops lavender essential oil (optional)

If embarrassing foot odor has you down, don't hide your feet in more layers of socks; instead, try pampering them with a baking soda soak once a week. Fill a plastic tub with the warm water and baking soda. If you like floral scents, add a few drops of lavender oil, too. Soak your feet for 15 minutes and then pat dry. The baking soda will gently restore your skin's pH levels and neutralize the odor-causing bacteria responsible for the stink.

  • Creamy Soft Scrub
    2 cups baking soda
    ½ cup liquid castile soap
4 teaspoons vegetable glycerin (acts as a preservative)
5 drops antibacterial essential oil such as lavender, tea tree, rosemary or any scent you prefer (optional)

Mix together and store in a sealed glass jar, shelf life of 2 years.

Tips: For exceptionally tough jobs spray with vinegar first—full strength or diluted, scented—let sit and follow with scrub.

Dry soft scrubs can be made with baking soda or salt (or combination of both) with 10-15 drops essential oil to scent
