• Vinegar for chickens
  Add vinegar to chicken's water, especially in the winter, to keep them laying better and staying healthy. Apparently, it also helps to deter the chickens from pecking each other. 
  

• Cheap Chicken Feed
  Feeding chickens with commercial feed can be expensive and may be adding more commercial feed supplements then you want. Many veggie scraps left over from your kitchen make great chicken feed. Also, many Day Old Bread stores sell expired products for 'animal feed'. Often for less then $2 or $3 you can get a lot of leaves bread/buns that you can break up and spread on the ground.
