No of course not. You love your family, your family is your life and your very being. And yet you are likely poisoning your family every day when the chemicals you use to clean the your house. You may think that during cleaning your are actually making your house safer and better for those you care about the most, but you could actually be doing as much harm as good.

If you use harsh petroleum based products to clean your home, you may be introducing cancer causing chemicals into the air and on the surfaces of tables, counters and appliances. Oil or petroleum products are known to be bad for people and pets. But nearly all cleaning household cleaning products are made from oil.

And forget about commercial Earth Friendly Cleaners. Many of them are, at best, just less poisonous then the normal products. Some are merely watered down versions of the full strength brands resulting in you paying more for less actual product and then having to use more of the product. End result: you are still introducing and equal or more amount of the same harmful chemicals into your home.

If you have a garden or nice yard and outside space, then you already know your garage is full of chemical products. Pest controls and herbicides are nothing but pure poisons. And as weeds and insects are increasing exposed to these same chemical compounds they often develop immune systems that render the products ineffective. The result. You have to purchase stronger and more harsh products.

Does that mean all is lost or that you should live in a dirty home. Absolutely NOT. Long before Oil based cleaners became the norm, people were actually able to clean and sanitize their living space thanks to many natural cleaning solutions.
